No Need To Sweat Covid Vaccination Rates

Harvey’s Introduction

Mr. Philipson points ought that the concern over whether people choose or don’t choose to take the vaccine is misplaced. The question is whether the right people take it.

Bidenomics May Repeat FDR’s Blunder

Harvey’s Introduction

FDR is today celebrated as an outstanding president who brought us out of the depression in much the same way that President Obama is lauded today for leading us out of a severe recession. There plaudits are not deserved. Roosevelt’s policy extended and deepened the depression and Obama’s was the worst recovery in almost a century. The Racial Marxism of BLM

Harvey’s Introduction

Matthew Peterson traces the roots of BLM to the underlying theology of Marxism. Peterson argues that we don’t take Marxist philosophy seriously enough because there is little public support for direct in class warfare. But the BLM movement draws on the underlying Marxist philosophy; however instead of class, BLM relies on race and other intersectional “victims” of “white privilege”. Their aim is to completely recast American society and they are being funded by elite foundations and supported by academia and media.

Antifa/BLM Industrial Complex

Harvey’s Introduction

Alberto Fernandez likens the network of organizations that act as a supporting network for BLM and Antifa to what President Eisenhower defined as the “military/industrial complex. These enablers and support groups, he argues, are members who don’t fully appreciate their role in supporting these fully anti-American groups. Nor do they understand the objectives of these organizations and movements.. Fernandez identifies some enabling organizations and describes what he thinks ought to be done to weaken and then destroy their support.

A Democrat Party – Illegitimate Means What They Don’t Like

Harvey’s Introduction

Kevin Williamson writes an interesting essay every Tuesday called “The Tuesday”.. Easy to remember. This one talks about how what Democrats don’t like is “illegitimate” as in Trump is an illegitimate president, Amy Barrett is an illegitimate nominee for the Supreme Court. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

How Supreme Court Nominations Got So Political

Harvey’s Introduction

This is one of Dan Henninger’s best editorials. He explains why and how the Democrats completely subverted the process and did so because they couldn’t get the legislation they want except through activist court decisions.

The Pandemic Is History

Harvey’s Introduction

This is an interesting analysis of CDC data on the course of the Covid pandemic. He argues persuasively, while the disease will continue, it will no longer be a pandemic

Where Do The Palestinians Go From Here?

Harvey’s Introduction

Now that Israel has signed peace and diplomatic agreements with several important Sunni Arab states, what are the Palestinians to do to finally achieve their own state. Dani Pletka, a scholar with the American Enterprise Institute, has studied mid-east issues for years and describes a useful path forward for the Palestinians if they decide to become a peaceful, functioning state. I hope they do.
