This the third of a series of articles by Mr Lomborg on climate change. They are all worth reading, are clear and separate fact from fiction. Unfortunately, I could not copy the chart that appeared in the WSJ, but the article is clear even without it.

This article is a copy of most of the Weekend Jolt in National Review. The main part of the article takes on the progressive narrative about the resistance taking place all over the country against teaching Critical Race Theory – to wit, that protestors are really racist who don’t want schools to teach black history and the evils of slavery. Hence, in their view, this resistance is further evidence of racism. It’s nonsense, but that want stop them from lying and making this straw man argument.
Weekend Jolt does another task for me and that is it identifies other articles that might be interesting to National Review readers. Its a good list for you to review on various topics.

You may have read articles that the increase in crime rates over the last year represent a spike and not a trend. Rafael A. Manguel, director of legal policy at the Manhattan Institute, argues effectively that this thinking is whistling in the dark and the increase is here to stay unless policies governing policing and incarceration change. Its a scary prognosis, but unfortunately is probably right.

Critical race theory is rapidly spreading through America’s public institutions. Yet most Americans have little understanding of the theory and how it affects their lives. In a new 18 minute video essay, City Journal contributing editor Christopher F. Rufo explores the intellectual roots of critical race theory, summarizes his investigative reporting on this topic, and explains how citizens can fight back in their communities.
If you want to understand this damaging philosophy, watch the video.

This is an excellent piece of work by the scholars at Manhattan Institute of what is happening in our schools under the banner of eliminating racism – woke schooling. It is in two parts: the first defines all the major ideas in critical race theory and how each idea plays out in school curriculums and the second describes the steps parents can take to deal with this pernicious ideology. If you like you can download the workbook in PDF format and print it.
